text description of the foundation's goals and structure

TODD MEDICAL FOUNDATION

Todd Medical Foundation (TMF) is a non-profit entity with an IRS 501 (c)3 status. TMF is organized to support research to determine causes of and treatment for attention deficit and hyperactivity in children without resorting to the use of adult psychiatric drugs. The foundation is also dedicated to assisting with the development of health care modalities for an aging US population.

Entitlements have received a large measure of attention by the National press during the 2008 election campaign, particularly in relation to health care. The challenge of addressing the health care needs of an aging American public presents itself both technically and financially.
Todd Medical Foundation is devoted to providing assistance to meet these health care needs in one segment of this many faceted challenge.
The services provided through Medicare, in an environment of rapidly escalating costs, are impacting seriously the financial health of that program. Under these circumstances, the expansion of benefits does not appear likely. In order to help Senior Americans to avail themselves of therapeutic modalities not provided by Medicare, at an affordable cost, the work of non-profit Foundations may at least provide part of the solution.
Accordingly, Todd Medical Foundation is organizing a facility in rural King county Washington to provide the treatment modalities pioneered by Dr.E. M. Cranton MD (and others), which are described in his fascinating and informative literary achievement “Bypassing Bypass Surgery” (available through Barnes and Noble bookstores).
To preserve the rural nature of this location, attendance is by appointment only and courtesy transportation is provided.

Saga of the Polar Star is an epic true-life marine adventure, which describes the challenges encountered by its two-person crew in retrieving an Alaskan Crab Boat from a Spanish port and crossing the Atlantic along the route of Columbus. The journey continues from the Bahamas to the Cuban coastline within sight of Havana and onward to transit the Panama Canal.
Proceeds from Saga of the Polar Star have been pledged to Todd Medical Foundation. To order click on the click and pledge button below. The book is 223 pages on a 6x9 format. Cost is $24.95 plus three dollars for mailing and handling.
